Since January 1st of this year, I embarked on a daily journey of working with ebru, the traditional Turkish art of paper marbling. This creative endeavor has not only allowed me to deepen my skills but also to share the beauty of ebru with a wider audience. Each day, I film a live session on Instagram and X, where I showcase my process and engage with viewers who share my passion for art. This routine has transformed my practice into a vibrant community experience, fostering connections with fellow enthusiasts and inspiring others to explore their creative side. The daily commitment has brought me immense joy and fulfillment, making the art of ebru an integral part of my life.

Ebru Prayers

With each new moon, I prepare a fresh Ebru bath—a ritual that sets the tone for new explorations.

The new moon that began on January 1st marked the start of a fresh Ebru bath—one that was uniquely defined by the crinkling sound of paper, the search for a new crochet pattern, and the exploration of imagery from my social media journeys. Each of these elements comes together, guiding my creativity and providing new inspiration.
As the moon shifts, so too does the work—melding traditional art with modern influences and offering space for reflection and growth. This is a time for intuition to lead, where each creation emerges from the blend of tactile processes and digital experiences.
